Tea for rheumatism: Just my cup of tea!
My daily tea-pot of well-being
Especially with a disease such as rheumatism, it is important that you actively support your body and keep it fit – every day. A great help is a cup of tea – or better a whole pot of tea. Of course it should contain a special herbal tea mixture.
My absolute favorite among the teas that tone and support the body internally – that serve as a tonic, is my tea for rheumatism – my special anti-inflammatory herbal tea blend for every day.
It contains absolute booster herbs such as stinging nettles, dandelion and sage, which help against inflammation and thus also against rheumatism. You can buy the dried herbs almost everywhere or you can even pick them fresh in the fields or in the garden.
I prepare my tea every day in the morning in a medium-sized teapot and drink the herbal tea mixture throughout the day. In winter, I keep the tea warm for as long as possible, in summer it is refreshing as an iced-tea.
Tea for rheumatism – how-to?
And these are the ingredients for my favorite tonic, my tea for rheumatism:
Nettle leaves
Dandelion leaves
peppermint
sage
chamomile flowers
I usually use dried herbs for my daily tea because it’s quicker and I use about half a teaspoon per ingredient for a medium jug. You can take both dried and fresh herbs. But because the intensity varies greatly between the two variations, you can go ahead and find your personally preferred mixture of the tea for rheumatism.
Another tip from me: If you drink the tea daily in large quantities, it is best if you do not sweeten it – not even with honey or maple syrup. Personally, I think that the unsweetened tea tastes great and has its own sweet note. So if the mix is too bitter for you, just experiment with the herbs a bit – maybe a little less sage and more peppermint – until you find your own favorite tea mixture.
So then, on the tea for rheumatism – Cheers!
